Collecting and monitoring your storefront data is crucial for tracking your success as an influencer. With Viral Vue, you have two key ways to gather data for your storefront: through your My Videos page and your public storefront page. Let’s break down how each of these works to ensure you have the most up-to-date information at your fingertips!

1. Using Your My Videos Page

Your My Videos page is private and only accessible when you're logged into your Viral Vue extension. This means Viral Vue can only collect and update data from this page when you are logged in.

Once you're logged in, Viral Vue will automatically scan your My Videos page and load all your video placement data. Because your videos are saved and linked to your influencer account in Viral Vue’s database, the platform constantly monitors their placement—even when you're not actively logged into your Viral Vue or Amazon account.

2. Using Your Public Storefront Page

Your storefront page is public, which allows Viral Vue to collect and update information directly from it without requiring you to be logged in. When you visit your storefront, all your video placement data immediately loads from the Viral Vue database.

However, if it’s your first time visiting your storefront, you might need to click the refresh button to catalog all your videos properly. This initial refresh will ensure that the next time you visit your storefront or My Videos page, you'll immediately see the most current data that we've collected from Amazon within the last 24 to 48 hours.

Keeping Your Data Fresh

It's important to note that the video placement data could be up to 48 hours old. For example, we might display that a video is in both the top and bottom carousels, but this information might be slightly outdated. The best way to get the latest data is to click the refresh button on your public storefront or your My Videos page.

When you click refresh, Viral Vue will actively scan each video and its placement to ensure you have the most up-to-date and accurate data.
