Viral Vue makes it easy to pull product ASIN data from your Amazon Associates earnings reports and use it to find and accept related campaigns inside Creator Connections. This allows you to connect products from your reported sales, with campaign opportunities and helps you secure commissions.
What Are Halo Sales?
Halo sales happen when someone clicks your Amazon link, but instead of buying the exact product you promoted, they purchase something else within the same category of products while browsing. You still earn a commission on that purchase because your link brought them to Amazon.
How It Works
When you generate sales on Amazon (through your influencer or affiliate links), those earnings appear in your Associates dashboard. Viral Vue lets you:
- Collect ASINs from your earnings dashboard (typically the past 48 hours).
Cross-check them with the Creator Connections campaign database.
Accept related campaigns
This ensures you capture all possible earnings tied to your traffic and sales.
Onsite vs Offsite Store ID
Onsite Store ID tracks earnings from activity directly on Amazon, which can include:
- Product purchases via your Amazon storefront
- Recommendations made on Amazon pages
- Content featured on Amazon, such as video posts or product demos
Offsite Store ID tracks earnings from activity outside Amazon, such as:
- Links in YouTube videos, blogs, or social media posts
- Creator Connections (CC) links
- Any external promotion that leads to a purchase on Amazon

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s the difference between tagged and auto-linked ASINs?
Tagged ASINs are products you’ve manually linked to your videos. Auto-linked ASINs are products Amazon automatically associates with your video, so your content may appear on those product pages even if the item is different from the one you featured.
I’m confused about the other Settings. Why would I choose not to accept them?
The steps in this article are intended to help you find campaigns for ASINs from your earnings report. The other settings allow you to scan campaigns for all your videos, deep links, and idea lists. This process can take longer, especially if you have thousands of videos, but you can scan them together if you choose to.
How often should I run this?
Once per day is recommended, but you can run it multiple times if you drive heavy traffic.
What if I don’t see new campaigns accepted?
It just means no matches were found during that period. Keep running it regularly to maximize results.
