The builder appears in several locations across Viral Vue:

• Cross-post upload page: opens during the upload flow before you hit "next"
• Storefront Optimizer: click "cross-post" or "edit" on any listing
• YouTube tab: click the thumbnail option next to any video
• Single upload page: click the thumbnail preview to launch the builder

How to Build Your First Thumbnail

Step 1. Choose a frame or upload an image. Scrub through your video to find the perfect frame and click "use this frame." You can also upload a separate screenshot or image file.

Step 2. Add text. Type your copy, drag it into position, then customize the font, color, and outline width and color.

Step 3. Add shapes or icons. Use the built-in arrow tool or upload custom icons such as transparent PNGs from Canva. Resize, rotate, and recolor each element independently.

Step 4. Save as a template. Give your design a name and click "save template." It will appear in your template library for every future upload.

Step 5. Apply or download. Hit "use for cross-post" to attach the thumbnail to your upload, or download it to use on any external platform.

Pro tip: If you already use Canva, download individual elements like arrows and text overlays as transparent PNGs rather than a full flat design. This gives you the flexibility to position and resize each piece freely inside the builder.
