If you have a large number of videos on your Amazon Influencer storefront that aren’t stored locally and want to upload them to YouTube, this guide will walk you through the process using Viral Vue’s tools, templates, and deep links.
Step 1: Download Your Videos from Amazon
Go to Amazon Creator Hub (shortcut available in the extension).
Download your videos directly from Creator Hub using the Viral Vue Download option. This is the fastest and most efficient method.
If you have custom thumbnails, you can download those as well.
Tip: Videos downloaded from Creator Hub automatically include the original video title, which makes it easier to tag products correctly on YouTube.
Step 2: Prepare Your YouTube Channel
Make sure you have a YouTube channel.
Ensure your account is eligible to post links in video descriptions.
Sign up for a URL Vue account to use deep links. Check this article for more details: URL Vue Setup
Create/Customize Your Template
Step 3: Upload Videos to YouTube Using Your Template
In YouTube Studio, go to Create → Upload Video.
Select the video file you downloaded from Creator Hub.
Click Use Template and select the product associated with the video.

Viral Vue will automatically update:

Description with deep link
Product title for SEO
Brand name
Link the video to your media links to integrate with Creator Connections campaigns.
Set video visibility (Public, Unlisted, Private).
Save the video.
Tip: If you have a backlog of videos, download them from Creator Hub and upload them to YouTube. For new videos, upload directly to Amazon and YouTube at the same time to save time and avoid backtracking.
Update YouTube Video Descriptions and Deep Links
You can edit your YouTube videos later to update descriptions, links, or templates.
This ensures your deep links stay accurate and up to date.
Why This Matters
Automates linking Amazon products to YouTube videos.
Ensures affiliate commissions are tracked properly.
Improves visibility and SEO by including product titles and descriptions.
Saves time when handling large volumes of videos.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there a way to edit the YouTube video template without uploading a video?
Yes! Go to your YouTube Studio and click Edit Template at the top.
I’m trying to get my videos to YouTube via the URL Vue app, but I don’t see the template feature on my YouTube Creator Studio dashboard. How can I fix this?
If you’re on the Pro plan, make sure the Viral Vue extension is toggled on, you have the latest extension version installed, and your Chrome browser is up to date. After doing this, refresh your dashboard and the template feature should appear.
I recently uploaded my video on Amazon and forgot to upload it to YouTube at the same time. When I tried to upload it to YouTube a day later and clicked "Use Template", I got a “No Tagged ASINS” error. Why?
If you just recently posted to Amazon, this can sometimes happen and take longer to process. Once it’s published on Amazon, it can take up to 48 hours to reflect on YouTube.
We recommend waiting to hit Submit on Amazon until you have uploaded to YouTube first.
Why aren’t my URL Vue deep links clickable?
Clickable links may not appear due to video length, format, or account verification. Check each factor to ensure your link works.
How long does my YouTube video need to be for clickable links?
Horizontal videos must be at least 60 seconds long to support links.
Can I use clickable links in vertical videos or Shorts?
No. Vertical videos under 3 minutes are considered Shorts, and YouTube doesn’t allow clickable links in them.
How do I verify my YouTube account for clickable links?
Go to YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel → Feature Eligibility → Verify All Three Levels.
