FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can a video still earn commissions if it’s in “Neither” placement?
Yes, but it’s less likely. Shoppers can still find the video on your storefront, but visibility is much lower.
How long does it take for a video to appear in a carousel?
It varies. Some videos appear within hours, others can take days depending on Amazon’s review and rotation.
Does having a video in both carousels double my earnings?
Not automatically, but better visibility usually leads to more clicks and conversions.
What does "NC" mean in my Amazon videos?
NC (No Carousel) means the listing has no merchant video, so there is no top carousel influencer video either, but there could still be a bottom carousel. Bottom carousels result in so much less commissions that we focus on top carousel.
What is the difference between "No Carousel" and "Neither" on my videos?
No Carousel means there is no top carousel available for that product, but your video could still appear in the bottom carousel. Neither means your video is not in the top or bottom carousel at all.
When I click on the links to videos marked No Carousel or Neither, sometimes they appear in the bottom carousel and other times they’re nowhere to be found. Why?
Videos marked No Carousel or Neither may appear in the bottom carousel sometimes, and not at all other times. This is because Amazon constantly rotates videos in both the top and bottom carousels. Even if many videos are eligible for a product page, Amazon may only display a few at a time, so your video might not appear every time.
