How to Revive DEAD Amazon Influencers Videos

The Viral Vue Profits Dashboard includes a powerful feature in the Revival Opportunities tab that helps creators bring old videos back to life, increase engagement, and boost commissions. 

How It Works

  1. Refresh Your Earnings
    Start by heading to the Overview section to see when your earnings were last updated. To ensure you have the most accurate data, click Refresh Earnings. This takes you to your associates dashboard, where you can hit Refresh Recent for both on-site and off-site store IDs.

  2. Identify Revival Opportunities
    In the Revival Opportunities tab, you can find products that previously performed well but have slowed down. You can filter opportunities by sales, revenue, earnings, or videos.

  3. Analyze and Edit Videos
    Click on a video to check its placement. From there, you can:

    • Update the thumbnail

    • Edit the title

    • Tag the Parent ASIN

    You can also create additional videos for the same product to maximize reach.
    One of the most effective actions is tagging the Parent ASIN directly from the dashboard. Copy the parent ASIN from the product listing, paste it into the tagging field, and hit Tag. This updates your video automatically and ensures you’re capturing all possible sales.

  4. Repeat and Optimize
    Work your way down the list of revival opportunities, prioritizing videos with past sales. Not every update guarantees an increase in commissions, but it maximizes coverage and ensures no potential sales are missed.

  5. Use Data to Make Smart Decisions
    Viral Vue provides insights into competition and influencer activity. If a product’s video count is low and competition is manageable, editing thumbnails, retagging parents, or creating additional videos can significantly improve performance. For highly competitive products, simpler actions like tagging the parent may suffice.
