Auto Research is a hands-free tool inside Creator Connections that scans thousands of products on your behalf, finding matches that meet your exact criteria while you sleep, eat, or step away from your computer. Instead of manually browsing for products one by one, the Auto Research tool does the heavy lifting so you can focus on what matters most: creating content and closing brand deals.
How to Set It Up
- Go to Creator Connections Navigate to the Affiliate+ Campaigns section inside the platform, and click Auto Research.
2. Set Your Criteria Configure your filters:
- Max influencer videos — e.g., no more than 15 existing influencer videos on the product
- Minimum monthly revenue — e.g., products doing over $5,000/month
- Number of matches — e.g.,100 results
- Minimum commission — e.g., 12% or higher
- Categories — select niches you're interested in
- Keywords — enter broad keywords, one per line
3. Hit "Start Research" The automation begins immediately. Allow the tool to finish or exit early.
4. Review Results in the Web App Product Research → Auto Research Tab. You can sort by Highest commission, viral score, Monthly sales / 30-day revenue, Days left in campaign. Remaining budget and more.
5. Take Action From your results, you can:
- Select the top products and Send Messages to automate brand outreach
- Move products to your Bucket Manager
Why It Matters
Finding the right products to promote is one of the most time-consuming parts of the influence program. Without automation, you're manually searching, filtering, and evaluating products one at a time — a process that can eat up hours of your day with no guarantee of results.
Automated Product Research changes everything because it:
- Runs in the background while you're not working
- Checks hundreds to thousands of products in minutes
- Filters results based on your personal criteria (commissions, categories, keywords, viral scores)
- Deposits all matched products directly into the web app for easy review
Pro Tips
- Don't go too broad or too narrow. Too specific = fewer products. Too broad = too many irrelevant matches. Find the sweet spot.
- Use broad keywords. Instead of "standing table desk," try "standing desk" and "desk" as separate line items to capture more products.
- Run it while you're away. Auto Research is designed to run when you're not at your computer — sleeping, eating, or in between tasks.
- Save products before your next run. Every time you start a new Auto Research, the Auto Research tab is cleared. If you want to keep products, move them to the Bucket Manager first, those won't be deleted.
- Use unique criteria. If everyone uses the same filters, everyone finds the same products. Get creative with your categories and keywords to discover hidden gems.
