If you're looking to get the most out of your Amazon order history, Viral Vue's Order History Scanner tool is a game changer. This tool allows you to scan all your past orders, and even those of family and friends, to surface the products with the best potential for you to review: strong sales, low competition, and Creator Connections eligibility. Focusing on these winners gets your account the quickest ROI, instead of spending time reviewing random products around your house.
By leveraging Viral Vue's Order History Scanner tool, you can find opportunities across multiple Amazon accounts. It's a powerful way to maximize your influencer potential without spending extra money.
Plan requirement: You need at least a Starter or Pro plan to use the Order History Scanner.
Getting Started with the Order History Scanner Tool
-
Run the Scanner: From your personal Amazon Orders History page, Click "Refresh" to initiate the tool, and you'll see the numbers load as it scans your order history.
💡 Note: Business Prime accounts are currently unsupported by the Order History scanner tool. Instead, you can download your order history report from Amazon, copy the ASINs, and paste them directly into ASIN Findr (Pro feature) to find products you can create videos on. - Wait for the Scanner to Complete: The time it takes to complete depends on the number of orders you have. If you have a lot of orders, it may take longer. If not, it should only take a few seconds.
- Review the Results: Once completed, the scan will pull in all the products you’ve ever ordered on your Amazon account.
Why Your Order Count May Differ
You may notice the number of orders on your Amazon Orders page doesn't match the product count shown in Product Vue or the Web App. This is expected: the tool automatically filters out:
- Duplicate orders, such as recurring Subscribe & Save items (e.g., diapers, wipes, laundry detergent)
- Products that are no longer available on Amazon
So if your Amazon account shows ~2,000 orders, it's normal to see a lower number (e.g., ~1,800) once duplicates and unavailable products are removed.
Using the Web App for Advanced Filtering
Once your orders are scanned, you can access them directly in the Viral Vue Web App without needing to be on the Amazon orders page.
- Open the Orders Tab: This is where you’ll see every item you've ordered and linked to your Viral Vue account.
- Use the Advanced Filter Panel: Click the filter icon to combine multiple criteria at once, for example, minimum monthly units sold, a maximum number of influencer videos, and whether the product has a merchant video. You can save your filter set to quickly narrow thousands of products down to a shortlist that fits your exact strategy.
- Customize Your View: Show or hide specific columns to focus on what matters most to you.
Viewing Historical Product Data
Every product includes historical performance data. Click the graph icon next to a product (available in both Product View and the extension) to see trends over time for:
- Monthly sales
- Monthly revenue
- Price
- BSR (Best Sellers Rank)
- Reviews
This helps you judge whether a product sells consistently, is trending up or down, or just has occasional spikes, important context before deciding to review it.
Maximizing Opportunities with Friends' and Family Accounts
The Order History Scanner lets you scan not just your orders but also those of family and friends, helping you find more products to promote without extra purchases.
- Add Other Accounts: While logged into to their Amazon account, sign in to your Viral Vue Extension and click “Refresh” to scan and link their orders.
- Stay Connected: After scanning, you can uninstall the extension. Their order data stays linked to your account.
-
Filter by Amazon Account: Use filters to view orders from a specific Amazon account.
